Why doesn’t my access card or fob work?

  1. Please confirm you are granted access to this door.
  2. Ensure power to your devices.
  3. Confirm the scanner lights up when scanning your access card or fob.
  4. Try to open the door with an alternate access card or fob.
  5. Try to open another door with your access card or fob.
  6. Verify if your scan is registering on the server event log.
  7. Verify if you can hear the door lock activate or not.

Note: Sometimes, as we go through the seasons, the alignment of the door lock may shift.  In the event that this may happen, you may try to pull/push on the door to shift it back into place.
